Our shoot took place at Heir/Calico in downcity Providence! With Heir’s insanely-chic collection of furniture, antiques, and artifacts, we literally had the perfect set and props at our fingertips! The Elizabeth Cole line is made up of simple-yet-glamorous basics like braided chains a sleek bangles, along with statement-making Swarovski-encrusted craziness like 70′s-inspired jaguar heads and chunky, gem-laden, floral cuffs. Needless to say, we died seven times and went to accessories heaven!

We had a great time reuniting with photographer, Conor Doherty, (who also shot our swimwear lookbook last summer) and meeting Maggie model and fellow blogger, Jeri Evan–who I think was the perfect face for Elizabeth Cole!

Sorry the blog has been so quiet over the past week! We’ve been crazy-busy here at Calico, preparing for the e-shop launch, our spring  lookbook photoshoot, tomorrow night’s SHOP n’ SWAP–and, of course, shlepping tons of fresh vintage merch to Providence for our grand opening!

We celebrated the launch of our new “micro-boutique” at Heir last Saturday night, and it was amazing! Thanks so much to all our friends and fans that came out to party with us and support our collab! It’s still a work in progress, and we’re really excited about what’s to come!

We loved our downcity Providence pop-up shop, and we cannot wait to be back in town–this time at our PERMANENT new home at 231 Westminster with Heir Antiques! The new location is scheduled to open in early-mid March. We’ll keep you posted on the exact opening date!
