Last week, David invited John and I to be his dates for the Project Runway 10th Anniversary Party at the Highline Ballroom. We had a blast — sweating profusely, sipping cucumber/mint cocktails, and rubbing elbows with all our Project Runway favorites. I glimpsed Heidi Klum! Jay McCarrol told me to bleach my hair platinum! We even after-partied with Mondo! It was epic. Here’s what we wore:

This is one of David’s dresses from Selahdor Spring ’13! It’s silk chiffon with leather details and it fit me like a dream!

The Cher Platform from Matiko. I am OBSESSED with these shoes. The graphic print fabric wedge and the neon yellow leather upper are both show-stopping and super-sturdy. Literally, the most comfortable pair of platforms I’ve ever owned!

Since the dress is supposed to be the star, and my shoes come in a close second, I went for minimal accessories. Metallic silver nails (Smoke & Mirrors by Sonia Kashuk) and a high shine, reptile texture vintage clutch. The snake vertebrae ring is also from Selahdor’s Spring ’13 collection. David joined forces with Boston stylist and jewelry designer, Christen Mitchell, to create a complementary collection of jewelry for the line. Get ready to die for these accessories, world.

John is wearing a skull print blazer he scored at Virgin Blak. In classic John style, he had this bad boy altered and tailored to fit perfectly. Paired with H&M shorts, all-black Chuck Taylors, and our Encino Sunglasses from Calico.

Close-up of John’s jacket. So killer. And our Talon Ring from Calico.

David wears John’s vintage-inspired ascot shirt, also from Virgin Blak — paired with H&M shorts and vintage shoes. I love this shirt. John wears it all the time. It’s now in the backseat of my car.

Here are some random people on the step & repeat. I have no idea who they are, but they’re pretty cute.

John and Mondo trade jackets, pose with our new friends.

Mondo. He’s wicked frickin’ cool. Look at his outfit.

[...] I’ve been waiting with so much excitement to announce my collaboration with David Chum of Selahdor. I had the privilege of designing my first metal jewelry collection for this SS ’13 line. I can’t give away too many details but here is a snapshot from the Shop Calico Blog and one of my grainy behind the scenes. Below is pictured the Vertebrae Ring as well as the Vertebrae Body Piece. That is all for now, but see a little more on Shop Calico. [...]
